1. How much time do I need to learn to dance?
It depends on the dance level you wish to reach. Some of our students are content with acquiring the necessary dance skills in order to be able to dance at events or parties. Other students take it to the next level, which is either participating in competitions or even becoming professional dancers. Most of our students decide to make dancing a part of their lives, as a hobby. Therefore, the time that you will need depends exclusively on you and your goals!
2. How much will it cost me to learn to dance?
The cost depends on the number of hours and the type of lessons that you decide to attend. Our programs are especially and individually designed for each student, guaranteeing your learning. Our suggestion is to begin with a dance program that costs 223€ and includes 5 private lessons of any type of dance, 5 group lessons and 5 three-hour parties.
3. Do I need a partner in order to start lessons?
It’s not necessary! During your lesson, your teacher is going to be your partner. In our weekly educational parties, you will get the opportunity to dance with the rest of our school members and our qualified teachers!
4. What types of dance are you teaching?
All the European, Latin – American, Modern and Greek Traditional dances. If you wish to learn more about the types of dance we are teaching, please click on the link of our site, Dances – Χοροί.
5. What kind of clothes should I wear during the lesson?
You can wear clothes which make you feel comfortable and chic! You could also wear dance shoes, which are useful for your training but not necessary for your first lessons.
6. I’ve never danced before in my life! Will it be difficult for me to learn?
Experience has showed that anyone who’s able to walk, can also dance. Our lessons are easy to follow, in an enjoyable and efficient way. You may walk to get to our school but we assure you, that you will be dancing on your way back home!
7. I consider myself old to learn to dance! Is that a problem?
Absolutely not! The age of our students ranges between 7 and 87 years old!! You will be surprised by their dancing abilities and skills!!
8. I am embarrassed to dance in front of other people! Could you help me overcome it?
That’s natural! Being embarrassed and shy is the main reason why we stay away from a dance floor and therefore a dance school! This is why, we always try to make the students feel comfortable and secure, with programs specially designed for you and your needs.
9. When can I schedule my lessons and which is the desirable frequency?
Our dance schools are open daily from 10:00am to 22:00pm, except Sundays. You are the one who determines the hours of your lessons. It is advisable to have two lessons per week, even during the same day. This is the least amount of time we ask you to dedicate to us, to have better results.
10. Are the educational parties necessary?
The educational parties improve and complete the education of all the participants, and by combining fun with learning the students can dance everything they have been taught in our dance school, in a specially designed environment, of a ballroom atmosphere. By dancing, not only with our teacher, but also with the rest of the staff and students of our dance school, you can reach the point where you will be able to move with the same ease in any dance, with any partner.
11. Can I only have private or group lessons?
You can find a detailed analysis of our teaching method on the ‘Lessons – Μαθήματα’ page. Strictly private lessons can be arranged only in special occasions.
12. Does my body structure play any part in my attempt to learn to dance?
None whatsoever! Dance helps our circulatory system and controls our weight by burning calories. It can be a smooth or intense exercise, but it’ll always make you feel joyful and happy. It’s the best and most enjoyable work out!
